Ayurveda is
a comprehensive medical system. It provides preventive and
curative cares defined in the Charaka Samhita and
Ashtanga Samgraha.
A return
to sources of Ayurveda, it is retaining the phrase of one of thegreat
masters of Ayurveda, Charaka who wrote over 2500 years ago:
' HITHAHITHAM SUKHAM DUKHAM AYUSTHASYA HITHAHITHAM JNANAM CHA
THACHA YATHROKTHAM AYURVEDA SA UCHYATE'
the science that cares of joy and pain and teaches the rules for healthy living is called Ayurveda.
Back to
the roots of Ayurveda it also mean apply in everyday life
the basic ayurvedic principles that make sense and take their full
dimension in today's world.
Indeed, the
priority of Ayurveda, it's life, the well being and harmony in the long
run through a body and a mind functioning optimally. By studying the
Samkhya, the philosophical basis of Ayurveda and Yoga, we discovered
also an holistic approach to the person, a true science of personal
development. The links between body, mind and soul become evident, as
are links between the individual and the cosmos. Starting with the
discovery of your inner world and reconnect with the universe.
With Ayurveda
and Yoga, the personal development is the development of our
consciousness, our philosophy of life, our role in this world. These
millenary sciences teach us discipline, positive thinking and explain
how to get the best of ourselves in order to participate actively to
the well-being and harmony within us and around us.
our programs about
AYURVEDIC LIFESTYLE
in South India
The purpose
of our Ayurvedic lifestyle programs is to integrate harmonious and
peace building habits in a modern lifestyle which is generally binary :
from hyperactivity to exhaustion, from wake to sleep, forgetting
necessary breaks for the body and mind. We should not disrupt our life,
just create rituals of well being and take positive habits.
An important
part is of course given to food because, according to Ayurveda, food
nourishes the body but also the mind and affect our behaviour. Start by
making responsible food choices is the first essential step.
By integrating
daily balanced diet, balanced activity, balanced rest following Ayurveda
and Yoga, we naturally forget the old habits, with no frustration.
We develop knowledge and confidence, mental strength and
positive thinking.
Our programs can be done independently or after a program in an ayurvedic center.
